Announcing the Magill Report List of Vetted, Reputable Email List Vendors

By Ken Magill
Whenever I do a webinar on email marketing, no matter the topic, one question comes up without fail: Where can I buy lists of email addresses?
It came up again during a webinar I moderated on spam traps last week.
The same question comes up in other venues, as well. I have answered it numerous times in this newsletter, at conferences and in person on the phone.
So in order to save some time and effort, I have compiled a list of reputable email list vendors. Each of the vendors on this list has been personally vetted by me.
The email lists for sale by these companies are all permission based. They are guaranteed 85 percent accurate. They are guaranteed not to contain spam traps.
The lists are available for perpetual use. The addresses can be added straight to your house file with no fear of damaging your email reputation.
The address holders on these lists will not report you as a spammer. Sending marketing messages to addresses bought from these companies will not result in deliverability problems.
This list of reputable email address vendors is also comprehensive. Anyone who gets approached by an email list vendor and who is tempted to buy from them should check them against this list first.
If they’re not on this list, do not do business with them.
So without further ado, here is the Magill Report List of Vetted, Reputable Email List Vendors:
And there you have it. You’re welcome.

Terms: Feel free to be as big a jerk as you want, but don't attack anyone other than me personally. And don't criticize people or companies other than me anonymously. Got something crappy to say? Say it under your real name. Anonymous potshots and personal attacks aimed at me, however, are fine.
