StrongView Adds Two Vets to Marketing Team

By Ken Magill
Email marketing technology provider StrongView yesterday announced the addition of two email veterans to its marketing team.
Former Responsys executive Steve Melamed has joined StrongView—formerly StrongMail—as chief sales officer.
Former Acxiom product management lead Mark Parks has joined StrongView as vice president of product.
Besides Responsys, Melamed’s career has included stints with BrightEdge, Coremetrics, DoubleClick and E.piphany.
At Responsys, Melamed led a sales organization during a period of rapid growth from a $20 million private business to a $200 million public company with a successful IPO in 2011, according to StrongView.
“I’m excited to join the StrongView team as they are taking a different approach to both technology and services, one that opens up the possibility of making marketing truly contextual,” said Melamed in a statement.
“Parks comes to StrongView from Acxiom, where he successfully led a cross-functional team of product, user-experience, engineering, testing and documentation resources devoted to expanding the usability and capabilities of the company’s cross-channel campaign management platform,” StrongView said in a release.
“I’m excited to join StrongView, a company that understands what it will take to bring marketing to the next level and is leading innovation towards a future where all marketing is fully contextual,” stated Parks.
