e-Dialog Retakes Top Spot in Division 2

By Ken Magill

e-Dialog’s e-D’s TDs came roaring back from last week’s loss to score the most points in the Magill Report league this week and retake the lead in Division 2.

e-D’s TDs beat The Pontiflex DUMBOS 155.84 to 80.74 bringing e-Dialog’s record to 7-4 and dropping Pontiflex’s to 4-7.

Message Systems’ MS Destroyers scored a respectable 122.54 points, but lost to the TowerData Techies who scored 145.22. The loss snapped a six-game winning streak and took Message Systems out of the top spot in Division 2, which Message Systems held for one week.

TowerData’s win boosted their record to 9-2. They occupy the top spot in Division 1 over Harte-Hanks Heroes, whose record is 7-4.

Harte-Hanks is on a two-game winning streak, having beaten the ArcaMax Blasters 128.68 to 101.84.

Meanwhile, The Return Path Rage extended its winning streak to six in a row by beating StrongMail’s Orange Crush 152.24 to 64.42.

While Return Path benefited from a 51.84 performance by Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning, StrongMail suffered from unexpected dismal performances by its entire receiving corps and New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw, and a zero-point day from Miami kicker Dan carpenter.

Return Path now sits solidly atop Division 3 with a league-leading 10-1 record.

The Yesmail Raiders recorded their second win of the season by beating PL Marketing’s Orchard Lake Warrior 68.64 to 56.76.

The Spamtacular Bastards scored a respectable 114.4 this week, beating Permission Data who scored 88.68. The Bastards have now won two in a row, bringing their record to 4-7.
